Successful claim lodged close to Statute of Limitation

Fachtna O’Driscoll solicitors acted for a client who was a pedestrian and was struck by a car resulting in severe personal injuries. At the time our client contacted us the case was very close to two years from the date of the accident and due to the Statute of Limitation period we had to get her claim lodged with the Injuries Board urgently. The claim was ultimately not assessed by the Board and we arranged for the issue of legal proceedings and successfully settled our clients claim without her having to attend court and give evidence.
