Data Protection Rights Infringed

Fachtna O’Driscoll Solicitors Cork acted for a client whose data protection rights were infringed when her personal mobile number was used to contact her which had been obtained inappropriately from a phone provider company. The response from the multinational company was not satisfactory and Circuit Court proceedings were issued for the violation of our clients data protection rights following which a settlement was reached with the company and we terminated our clients contract with the phone service provider without further payments.
