Fachtna O Driscoll Solicitors settled a medical negligence claim for a client who attended a clinic for a skin consultation and a recommended course of skin treatment. Our client was provided with various products in order to prep her skin for the treatment. She followed the instructions and directions, but her skin became inflamed and she suffered facial pain and a severe rash. Liability was fully in issue and it was necessary to involve both the company that owned the clinic and also the manufacturer of the products. We secured a successful settlement for our client’s skin treatment injury claim without the necessity for her to attend Court to give evidence.
