Fachtna O Driscoll Solicitors acted for a client who slipped on liquid on the floor in the premises of her workplace resulting in an injury to her back which prevented her for working for some time. Liability was contested and we organised an engineering inspection. The Injuries Board did not assess the workplace injury claim because of difficulties with calculating the loss of earnings and we went on to issue Court proceedings and secured a successful settlement for our client without the necessity for her attending Court to give evidence.
