Claire is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University (MA in Comparative Literature) and University College Cork (BA in Language and Cultural Studies).
Claire qualified as a solicitor in 2009. Claire trained and worked in general practice for 6 years, specialising in probate, family law, and institutional abuse cases.
Claire went on to work for two years as Policy & Campaigning Officer at Nasc, the Irish Immigrant Support Centre, a Cork-based not-for-profit organisation that links immigrants to their rights.
Claire holds certificates in Asylum Law and Practice (CLT Ireland), District Court Practice (The Law Society of Ireland), and Legal German (The Law Society of Ireland & the Goethe Institut). Claire holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Employment Law (The Law Society of Ireland) and has trained as a mediator, having obtained a Certificate in Mediation and Dispute Resolution from the The Law Society of Ireland and NUI Maynooth.
Claire is also one of the founding board members of Camden Palace Hotel, a Community Arts Centre in Cork city.
Claire joined the Fachtna O’Driscoll Solicitors in 2017 and works in Probate and Conveyancing, Immigration/ Human Rights law, and Family Law.
